Dr. Olivia's Story
Dr. Olivia grew up on Maui, where her passion for dance throughout middle and high school sparked an interest in human movement. Her own experience with chronic pain initiated a deep curiosity about the body and how it functions. After graduating high school, Dr. Olivia earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Linfield University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Western States.
From the classroom to adjusting labs, Dr. Olivia maintained her curiosity, always thinking outside the box. Her continuous search for an approach that went beyond the standard led her to discover the Postural Restoration Institute. Studying and experiencing this form of patient care has been one of the most rewarding both personally and for her patients. Other sources of inspiration have stemmed from Functional Range Systems and Craniosacral Therapy.
Dr. Olivia has several mentors who have been wonderful sources of inspiration, demonstrating that it is possible to provide powerful, innovative forms of patient care. In her own practice she focuses on fostering opportunities for her patients to build better connections with their bodies. Being able to share her vision and contribute to the health of her community is deeply fulfilling for her.

Livaloha Wellness has been a creative outlet for Dr. Olivia. She hopes the colors, shapes, and textures in her space are welcoming and reminds her patients of this beautiful place we get to call home.
The name Livaloha Wellness is very meaningful to Dr. Olivia, as it incorporates one of her root principles in practice; the exchange of breath.

Rue is Dr. Olivia's Shih Tzu that may occasionally greet you when you visit Livaloha Wellness. She is 4 years old and loves making new human friends!
